ABOUT

The US national Music Education Center, incorporated in 1970, is a professional organization of approximately 6,300 members throughout the state. Throughout its 40 year history, The US national Music Education Center has dedicated its efforts towards the pursuit of excellence in music education. The purpose of advancing the value of music study and music-making to society while supporting the careers and professionalism of teachers of music.

The US national Music Education Center, an organization music education class, is recognized as one of regional associations that accredit public and private school, colleges, and universities in the states.

The accrediting activities of NMEC music class are conducted by the three Commissions, listed below. Each Commission works with a different segment of education.

The Accrediting Music Class for Schools

 

All schools below the college level including elementary, junior high, middle, high and adult schools, whether public, private, or church-related.

The NMEC accreditation process fosters excellence in elementary, secondary, and adult education by encouraging school improvement. NMEC accreditation recognizes schools that meet an acceptable level of quality, in accordance with established, research-based NMEC criteria.

NMEC has adopted a new approach to grant accreditation status. We believe the focus on status, rather than terms, will better support high-quality learning for all students as well as the achievement of each school's improvement needs. The NMEC Accreditation Status Explanation includes the new ballot for Visiting Committees as well as explanations for the new status options.

The Accrediting Music Class for Community and Junior Colleges

Accreditation is a voluntary system of self regulation developed to evaluate overall educational quality and institutional effectiveness. The accreditation process provides assurance to the public that the accredited member colleges meet the Standards; the education earned at the institutions is of value to the student who earned it; and employers, trade or profession-related licensing agencies, and other colleges and universities can accept a student’s credential as legitimate.

The Accrediting Music Class for Senior Colleges and Universities

Public and private senior colleges and universities.

Voluntary, non-governmental, institutional accreditation as practiced by the NMEC and the other regional commissions is a unique characteristic of American education. In many other countries the maintenance of educational standards is a governmental function. No institution in the United States is required to seek accreditation, however, because of the recognized benefits, most of the eligible institutions in this and other regions have sought to become accredited.

The NMEC accreditation process education institutions in developing and sustaining effective educational programs and assures the educational community, the general public, and other organizations that an accredited institution has met high standards of quality and effectiveness.

The Commission accredits institutions, not individual programs. Therefore, in addition to assessing the academic quality and educational effectiveness of institutions, the Commission emphasizes institutional structures, processes, and resources.

EMCA National Music Examination

The US national Music Education Center also hold a EMCA national music examination to help students get extra credit when they application university, this program is work extremely good and has been introduced in many countries and regions of the world, The function of the " EMCA " music merit examination is providing a music platform for young music teachers, students and music lovers. The World Federation of International Music Competition judges gives "EMCA" impartiality. The music merit examination system sets a high standard for the thousands of young teachers and students that are awarded the EMCA Music certificate. It is a very important personal achievement and proof of honor. The main focus of the EMCA should not be passing the examination, but rather the process, experiencing and participating in the EMCA music grade examination. The experience of close contact with famous musicians, and these experts assessing your musical development. We believe that these young people will receive as a result fun time with music and most beautiful memories of their lifetimes!
